Its Active!

Going to the dealer is hilariously sad now. I was always for yuppie douches in the 80s and early 90s but now its solidly a lifestyle brand.

I actually bought one of these for my i3 in 2019, as a celebration from finally being out of a sponsorship agreement that controlled my license plate frames for over 20 years:

Heck. BMW has a long ways to go to catch up to Ducati.

But people will buy it.

Just the other day someone on the BMX X5 bookface page asked about the BMW branded air fresheners at the dealership and if they were worth the money. At first I laughed, but then imagined they were someone who thought they were too good to walk into a Autozone and buy one from there.

Next thing you know, the dog will come with a service light. And you can check health status on MyBMW app.

I had them on my 2005 E53. They were pretty cool. I got a lot of looks and thumbs up over them. People we amazed that the logo stayed straight.

I do a lot of events with the CCA museum/factory/performance center in Greer. I seem to get some random tchotchke every time. Note books, coffee mugs, lanyards, key chains, etc etc. The best was a tin of M&M's with the M logo on them, they were labeled ///M&///M's.......

I did buy my twins some onesies last time I was there though...

How is it? I've been to swing by there when I visit family but it's just a little too far and out of the way.

My kid got me the BMW Golfsport hat for father's day. Actually kinda decent, and it has an integrated magnetic ball mark.

Love my floating center caps on my F82! Looks damn cool at speed + standing still. I’ve caught people staring at the caps with puzzled looks as I drive by.

The BMW branded air freshners are what people should be getting, not some cheap Autozone garbage. I don't do air freshners since I never eat/drink in my cars so they always have that new car smell no matter how old, but for people who do that that issue the BMW one is the way to go. The design aesthetic fits nicely in the cabin as well.
