No. Need newer ENTRYNAV2 or EVO head unit.

Hi, I checked my HU's HWEL, it's HWEL-00005D0F-002.001.005, and it's just a basic Entranav2, no navi or WLAN port, hence no CarPlay option.

What if I buy a used Entrynav2 with WLAN on board, could anyone help me with CarPlay activation on it before or after it's retrofitted in my car?

Someone in Russia does exactly this, but shipment from Russia to Ukraine is precarious to say the least. Thanks

It's about 2+ times more expensive wherever I checked. I don't need anything from it really other than CarPlay, so Entrynav2, the same I have only with WLAN may work just fine.

It’s not so easy on Entrynav2 units. In the end it will cost more then nbtevo.

Actually if there’s no navigation and you need only CarPlay you can just fit used headunit(with WLAN port) then procedd with CarPlay activation.

Thanks, could you help with coding the headunit to my VIN and activating CarPlay once I buy it?

I don't need navigation since it's not working properly in Ukraine - we don't have ConnectedDrive available in the country, hence no traffic information in navi. CarPlay with Google Maps is a lot more useful.

$50 is for EVO Aftermarket Fake FSC Code. That is not possible for ENTRYNAV2, which requires OEM FSC Code issued by BMW AG, and they charge a whole lot more.

Not sure if WIFI is installed, but i am able to make an Internet-Hotspot via my Mobile, so i guess this should be Wifi? Because if I activate it, i can find my BMW via Wifi on my phone.

I drove a BMW X3 with apple car play and i loved it! Would love to activate it on my BMW X1.... PM me with details, if its possible... :-)

Correct. Head Unit is not capable of CarPlay.
