New Owner - m-Sport 435i

I've had my 435i now for around 6 weeks. It's a lovely looking m-sport in Alpine White, Black leather interior plus some m-sport enhancements, mainly the mpe and mppk plus a few cosmetic things. So power is up to 334bhp and torque at 450Nm.

She is very smooth and discretly powerful BUT having test driven the M3 I am missing the top end surge........never happy

Obviously not a US car but I'll ask anyway....

M-Sport brakes, 435 and driving lights.... right?

2014 or 2015?

Got the m-sport brakes for no other reason than being blue. Car purchased in July this year so guessing 2014 MY and yes the fogs come as standard

Thanks.

That's pretty much the same car we ED this Wed. Minus the MPPK and MPE.

I think I'm going after market for those 2 items.

Like you, I've driven a couple hundred miles in my brothers M4, I'm gonna miss some of that power .....

Nice! Was also looking at that metal pedal upgrade. Was it hard to install, also does it feel grippy enough?

Noticed that you didn't get the metal dead pedal too, does one exist for our RHD?

Got the dealer to fit the pedals but they are plenty grippy

Re the dead pedal not sure that a metal cover is available. Only seen it on the m cars

The dead petal is available. Have mine on the car, given mine is a 335... Maybe different with the 4 series?

No, the dead pedal is included in the Msport pack of the 4th series. Have mine too, but maybe it is not provides for UK cars.

Beautiful car.
Sorry for your MPE: it is probably the "silent" 339 version... BMW has just introduced US 340 version for Europe too: change it as soon as possible! I will do it!

I admire your tenacity and persistence on the 339 vs 340 matter

On topic: OP, I was told by my local dealer that MPPK was not available in the UK for x35i engines yet? Did you have to import it?

I bought my car with MPPK + MPE. I have the new motor cover and new intake with the power kit logo on it.

Because I don't have navi and sport display, I'm not sure that they do the update programming.

Can you tell me where the M performance power kit programming update sticker's is located ?

Thanks !

Thanks for the comments guys.

The MPPK is available in the UK as a dealer fit option for the F series 335 motor so not sure where your dealer is getting his information from.

Re performance I'd say that for mild to medium throttle openings the rate of acceleration is about the same. On wider openings and above 4.5k is where the M4 feels different. It is also much more responsive on the throttle

BTW the MPPK sticker is on the underside of the bonnet

I don't have any MPPK sticker underside the hood...

But it's not the dealer that install my MPPK and MPE...I bought the car with it.

I think that the only way to be sure is to make check it by my dealer...
