Not tried them but seen them shred before and get caught in a brake shield making annoying sounds as the car in front came to a stop at the lights while dragging it beneath.

I used them years ago on a vectra (so more room around the wheel - maybe) and they were great for my purpose, however as others have said I wouldn't use them on gritted roads or anything longer distance/faster. I used them once off the main gritted road to get me up a hill and park. Works very well on snow which it where I needed them.

Not used those particular ones but have used “snow socks” many times up various mountains and work really well and are no worse than snow chains to get on. They’re not good though for patchy roads and get shredded quickly if used on clear roads.
