Anyone got a supersprint exhaust?

I see lots of videos with e46 m3 with the race exhaust but I’m looking for someone with a 4 cylinder with it. If not I would be interested in hearing how much louder it is over stock. Quality? Etc.

Not many options for my car atm but they make a system but I am hesitant importing it and paying 900 bucks if it’s going to drive me crazy.

You might wanna search any other BMW 4 cylinder with the supersprint exhaust. For example, an F30

I like the stock m performance exhaust on the M35i. Sounds just right. Probably sound even better if someone would make a damn DP for these things.

The M35i doesn't really have a downpipe. The catalytic converter is small and bolts directly to the manifold. From there, it's just tubing going back.

Interesting. I wonder what they’ll do for performance on these things?

I think the tuners are scratching their heads about that right now. It's a fairly highly tuned, and tightly packaged platform from the factory. BMW didn't leave much margin and space for them to work with, perhaps! With the platform growing, we shall see what appears.

The new M235i Grand Coupe and the M135i sharing our exact motor should help things move forward. This year will tell a lot!

Just saw an old thread brought up in the X1 forums for the ER catless 4" downpipe. So you're saying that the m35i does not have the same fitment as the X1/X2? I haven't really gone into realoem or otherwise to look. I'm not going to modify myself yet, but since this thread was about a supersprint exhaust I thought I'd bring this up here..

I'm not sure if the parts will interchange, the numbers are different but the drawings are certainly similar.

F39: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=18_1314
F48: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=18_1169

To me, this isn't a "downpipe" because of the integral configuration of the cat. I guess it's easiest to just call it that, but the part in that thread is "catless", meaning it's a hunk of pipe. I predict you'll have a heck of a time keeping the check-engine light off, and therefore making it really difficult to maintain and even get it inspected. If you learn otherwise, I'm all ears!

Yes I certainly imagine so. Great post with those parts.. I'm surprised even the nuts and bolts have different part numbers..

My 335i didn't have a downpipe either, until I removed the cat and put one in. I don't see how this is different. Why would the cat/downpipe bolting up to the manifold make things so different? The downpipe would just be swapped in as-if you were replacing the cat.
