Silly conversation...anything can be made to beat anything. But the GXP-while good bang for the buck--doesn't belong in the same conversation. I have seen a number of them at the track here in Michigan--beat two already--with my SRT8 running 12.8 to their 13.3 -13.4. since I run 12.1-12.3 in the V consistenly--its going to take a lot more than minor boltons for a GXP to hang. My favorite smackdown so far this year was a freeway roll on an empty freeway/sunday morning drive. GXP pulled up next to me in my BMW and did the three honks thing--easy Kill. He was nice though--rolled his window down and said "I knew if you were tuned I was in trouble".

An owner of a CTSV, STR8 and a 335 (same guy) had an encounter with a Pontiac G8 GXP (415hp 6.2liter). The GXP lost and the driver said he knew he would lose if the 335 was tuned.

Still dont know what the point of this is. CTS V is fast? 335 is fast? Something is faster? Both can be modded? Or not? And something about a Pontiac.
Maybe the Pontiac beat the 335? Or did a modded 335 beat the Pontiac? Or did a modded Pontiac beat the 335, but a modded 335 would beat the modded Pontiac?
