Black Sapphire after tinting and washing
Washed my car and applied a coat of liquid Eagle one Nanowax today, car is glistening. Black Sapphire looks amazing when clean.

Looks great with the tint! Looks sinister in the second photo with the angel eyes on against an all black car.

Car looks great. Photos look a bit blurry. Were they taken with your phone?
The reason I mention is that some cameras are equipped to make sharper images if you change the settings. I have a Nikon SLR that for some reason takes blurry photos until you make this change. I think they do that for those taking portraits so you don't see all the blemishes on someone's face. Just trying to be helpful.

Me like. I think your wax job looks fine. More than fine, actually.

30% front; 15% rear and back Thanks all for the positive comments. This black is definitely hard to take care of. I purchased a California Duster today. Heard great things about this product. However, I already see a couple scratches on the hood in the sunlight. This is one reason I am glad to be leasing this time around. After 30 months I can turn it in and not obsess over the hood and front bumper rock chips and scratches I do a lot of highway traveling to and from work so its a constant battle with the bugs. |

Color looks good. I've had our Jet Black 1er for nearly four years, and it's extra work, but not too bad. Of course I had my Imola Red M Coupe for 12 years, so I'm used to non-metallic paints. I'd love a Jet Black F31 M Sport, but JB won't be available, so I guess I'll go with Estoril Blue.
I've never had good luck with the car dusters, I find a quick detailer and really plush microfiber towels work a lot better for cleaning up a slightly dusty car. |
