My 2022 X2 M-Mesh edition

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share a few pictures of my new 2022 X2 M mesh edition. I haven't seen too many so thought I'd share a few pix.

-2022 X2 M Mesh / Brooklyn Gray (love the color)
-JB+ tune
-Black badges
-Blue "delete" BMW roundels

I traded my 2019 M240 xdrive for a little bit more ground clearance since I now spend a lot more time in Vermont. I've had the car for 2 weeks now and liking it so far.

I do love the color and the blacked out badges! I didn't know you could get color matched C pillar roundels, I guess it makes sense. I don't even notice them anymore.

1) Did the fender M badges come stock too? I thought they were everywhere EXCEPT USA.
2) Did you also smoke the bumper reflectors or are those stock too?

Although I don't frequent your area much I would love to look at it in person to compare all the little bits and pieces. Congrats!

Wait, what?

What did you do vs. what did you purchase stock that 'came that way' where things were black or subdued?

thanks guys. More details on the cosmetic mods for those of you asking.
-I "ghosted " the side reflectors with a light tinted film. Looks much better than the bright orange
-I also "recolored" all the BMW badges with 3M film. (black film over the blue color) I didn't want any blue badges on the outside, didn't work too well with the grey paint and orange wheels.
-Replaced the X2 badge with a black one. Plastidip-ed the Xdrive badge.
-M badges on the fenders came as stock.
thx

What tinted filmfor those side markers.. did you just overlay and cut with a razor? I'm definitely going to do that. I like that idea more than color matching and replacing.

By the way.. anyone local to Boston going to the bmw ultimate drive event? I'm heading there with a friend or two.. message me for time if anyone wants to meet.

Yeah just cut a big square, attached and then trim with a blade. Super easy. I got the film from Amazon.

That looks great? Trade me your grill!!

I might try the tint on the reflectors. I usually just plastidip them on my BMWs.

Now I sort of want the little Ms on the side…

I like everything except the orange that comes on the mesh edition on the wheels. I think it looks really out of place. Also if I tinted or darkened any of the Roundel logos, I would darken them all. Other than that, nice mods…

Exactly the same as my thoughts. I do like that grey color though.

Thanks for the film tip.. it's actually really nice tint film! I got it the other day (no amazon prime available) and just put it on this morning. Depending on the angle it is still relatively bright (probably your paint and trim/lighting made it look darker).

Love the look on it.. I'll probably go at a few of my other cars with it!
