Yes, I think MSport on a vehicle such as the X1 is somewhat oxymoronic.

Be prepared it also won't have that wonderful shove in the back of the M135i as you accelerate through a motorway on-ramp

Agree - I think the M-sport pack on an X1 is a bit of "Sheep in Wolf's clothing" - But I've ordered one because

• I couldn't live with the look of the standard steering wheel in the Sport / X-line
• My wife doesn't like leather seats, and I don't want cloth seats - but we both love the cloth/alcantara seats which are only available in the M-Sport

As for the performance - I will miss it, lovely 6-pot 3l petrol - but it's time for something more comfortable & practical - and I'm afraid I'm going to loose my license ....
