I like watching racing. So my bucket list consists of vacations where I can do that.

This year, the 100th anniversary of the Pike's Peak Hill Climb is what I'm doing.
Next year I want to be in Vegas for the first F1 race.
I have a few Rally races I want to go to (ARA).
I want to participate in one of the closed course road races in the US. Sandhills probably. It's the closest to me.
I would love to get to something like the Summer Nats in Australia or Gatebil in Norway, But I've never flown and I'm afraid of heights. So those things will be really tough for me to do.

I want to see the F1 in Monaco, we were planning on going last year for my 60th, the race is always on the weekend around my Birthday so I've always watched the race as part of my personal little party, anyway with Covid last year we weren't about to travel so I'm hoping next year for 62. Lots of other travel plans but that's kind of my bucket list topper.

I ended up doing a bucket list Honeymoon and had no idea it was a bucket list. My wife picked Paris, Monaco, Florence, and Rome.
I didn’t even know what Monaco was…..I would repeat that trip but scratch Rome and insert Maranello or the Amalie Coast

We were in Positano not long ago. The view from our condo. I look at the pictures and even though beautiful just so much better in person. There was a delicatessen just below where we were staying. They made fresh pasta and bread daily. Each morning they greeted us by name and made you feel so welcomed.

I had so many bucket list places that I never thought I would actually make it to when I was younger. It all seemed so out of reach. We've been so fortunate to see so many places and have some incredible experiences. Travel is my passion and the experience & memories far outweigh any tangible item I've ever bought.

Thailand is at the top of that list. There really are so many places I could add.

One of my brother in-laws and his wife just got back from Italy yesterday.
They were just here at my place having coffee
They stayed in Florence. They went everywhere, and they loved it.
The one think that they didn`t enjoy to much was the food
To much pasta they said, and they don`t like pasta.
Italy is also on my bucket list.

Looks like you were right near Le Sirenuse. Practically the same view as the webcam.

That's cool. I loved Florence. The food is amazing! You can definitely eat pasta every meal but we found a lot of different options as well.

Yes!! The place we rented was next door. Our driver would have had to stop in the street to unload but he just stopped at the La Sirenuse and we unloaded there.

My bucket list trip is in the planning stages.
My wife and I are doing a 3 week, cross Australia, through the heart of the outback, adventure motorcycle trip from Darwin to Sidney. It arrives in Sydney about 3-4 days before the 21 day repositioning cruise leaves to come back to Vancouver for the season. Both of us will be on our own motorcycles.
3 weeks of hard riding followed by 3 weeks of hard drinking and eating! Perfection in my book.

The neat thing is here in MN we are the ONLY state that hosts PowerCruise. The Aussies ship over a few burnout cars and we get to experience some of what it's like in their hemisphere. It's pretty damn cool! This year will be the 14th time they've put it on. The last couple through the shit show has been challenging for them.

I soooo want to get to Spa and drive a few laps. I'll be at the Nurburgring in August but time is tight and I don't know if I'll be able to squeeze in a day for Spa. I've been trying to juggle the itinerary but the public schedules at both tracks are really working against me. Why do they have to have races at race tracks when I want to drive them????

I had planned 25+ years ago to be in Machu Pichu at full moon with a then-GF. We broke up and I didn't go.

Then about 4 years ago my wife took me!

My brother started talking my wife into next year, on a large yacht, in Costa Rica. CR is out for my wife because of a different SIL, so maybe Panama.

Bucket list would be all finished by now, but then son was born and then covid happened. How's Rome? Some say it's too touristy and overrated. We were thinking maybe going off season to Barcelona next.
We just came from France and Monaco, I really like it there. It's our 2nd time. Been to Italian lakes, cinque terre, and Florence too (very nice, can go 2nd time maybe). I like Switzerland too, was thinking of renting a house on a lake there.
With kid it's a bit harder to plan everything. If it was me, I'd fly to Switzerland tomorrow and stay in mountains/lakes for a month.

Nice.

I guess it depends where you eat.
They were there 2 weeks, so they traveled everywhere by car and train.
They are not picky eaters, but they said that compared to France and Portugal the food is not as good.
To much pasta, and they don't care for pasta. They are more meat and fish kind of people.
I even asked about the bread and cheese, (which I hear it's awesome over there) and they were impressed with it.
