We’re getting a lot of bot profiles resurrecting old threads. They guise their posts as an actual response but slip in a link to a sketchy website. I hope no one falls for it.

I'd like to know how they find the type of post they're looking for. I try and use the search function for something specific and get nothing...LOL

Haha! Maybe not bots. Rather persistent spammers.

Last I heard (if this is the same Seattle company) it didn't work out so well. Executives didn't like getting the same pay as the janitor. Socialism doesn't work at a company level either.

You call it Socialism. I and many common sense individuals refer it to as, "the commendable and right thing to do".

But yeah... There is definitely a noticeable spike in Troll and Not types of activity on the forums.

You heard wrong. Yes, the company is Seattle based Gravity Payments. The CEO and founder instituted a $70,000 MINIMUM base salary for all employees. Meaning no employee was paid less than that. Doesnt mean employees weren't also paid more than that. He just put a salary floor in. The CEO takes a $70k/year salary, electing to stay at that base.

Since he did this 6 years ago, the company has grown considerably both in size and revenue. My wife uses them for credit card processing in her business and has nothing but positive things to say about the company and their services.

Awesome to hear! Many more companies and corporate America as a whole need to implement similar tactics.
