Ya know- I'd like to replace the plant on the office shelf with my AR now that you mention it. It'd make for a great conversation piece during Zoom calls!

In all seriousness it would be cool to have a vintage firearm on display; especially one with sentimental value.

No, I would buy an unmodded pistol, the picture was just for example - but looks nice, thats true

Not sure what industry you are in but it might upset a few Karens seeing that "murder machine" in the background.

I’m not concerned about the rifle but I am concerned about the random framed picture of a bearing

I’m more worried about the map pin pointing all his targets. With priority colours and all.

I'm a fan of modern art and a card-carrying MoMA member. That is a picture (actually a framed post card) from their Simple Machines exhibit.

There's quite a few museums in NYC so it's easy to get involved in those that feature things you like.

My target and client list is on Google Maps now, but I like to remind myself how I managed the NY-Metro marketplace back in the day.

Sharps New Model 1863 cartridge conversion carbine. Caliber .50-70. Gun retaining 10%-15% of original case color blue. 90% wood finish. 95% for the cartouche mark. Metal stampings correct. $1700 - $1900.

This auction shows one in nearly new condition for $6,900, so yours with the worn finish on the metal could be around that $1,800 mark.

Does .50-70 caliber increase value because of rarity, or decrease the value because of difficulty of finding ammo?

I don't know; I'm not a collector of those rifles.

I think it will depend on how many were made/converted more than the availability of the ammo. Also depends on what the collectors want. If your rifle is in demand, the value goes up.

If the full frame grip/shorter slide configuration appeals to you, also check out the HK VP9.

3. If you wish to take your SBR, or other NFA item, out of state, or you move out of state, you must notify and get approval from the ATF in advance.
Doesn't apply to suppressors, as long as the state you're traveling to is suppressor friendly.

Yup.. suppressors no need to inform. Other NFA items you want to inform early so you can get approval.

Only exception to that is if your a FFL dealer where you don't need approval for any of it and the NFA items is under the business.

Right, I just wanted a good shooter when I was hunting for Mausers. The M48 is more aesthetically pleasing than the K98 to my eyes as well, given that the handguard goes past the rear sights.

Zastava ZPAP M70. The stock had not been oiled when these photos were taken. I’m still applying coats of flaxseed oil.

I ordered an M4/AR15 on Tuesday, but I’m still waiting for it to ship. That’ll be my final firearm purchase for the year.

@SQ13 Do you shoot the Mauser? If yes, what kind of groups at 100yds or 200yds can you get with those sights?

Earlier, I asked you - which is better to choose: a semi-automatic or a bolt-action carbine as the first rifled weapon.
I chose a semiautomatic rifle in caliber 30-06 - Browning.
