Funny, I'd have an A3/S3/RS3 over any other Audi and just about every BMW aside from an M2. If there were a manual, hatch RS3 (in the US) I'd have one.

Comparing what VW does with fwd based chassis to what BMW and MB are doing isn't fair at all, VW has this down.

The Q3 is still based on the Mk5 Golf and we're nearly to the Mk8.

Looks good. Too bad it's gonna drive like Shit just like the X1. It pains me when I have to sell the X1 to a client. Knowing in the back of my head they are not buying a Bmw but a damn Mini Cooper.

You can order a de-badged car with none of those 'accessory' badges!! You're kinda stuck with the BMW roundels!!

And as I don't 'need' an 'SUV' (or crossover or whatever you call this, I call it a jacked up hatch) I'll wait for the G20, which will be a brand new car with an all new interior... this interior is just too X1... it's a real shame as they could have given this a bespoke interior, after all it's not cheap at £37k!!!

can we get photos of just how small the rear trunk space is? or is this car not meant to carry anything but 4 millennials that want a roundel

Of course it shares the interior with its chassis mate, the X1. Just as the next 3er sedan will share 95% of its interior with the 3er wagon, 3GT, 4er Coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe. It's just how it's done.

Just be glad it's not just the Countryman interior.

I know all that, but this interior just doesn't look special for a car at this price!! The G20 interior has the C Class & A4 interiors to beat now, so we can be sure (fingers crossed) it'll be a belter!!

Do you guys have the new Q3 yet? Anything looks better than the old one we still have. And the GLA is a bit naff too.

The X1/X2 is a full class down from the 3er thorough, so of course it won't have as nice of an interior. I will say that the Mini seats are abysmal though, BMW should really put better seats in the X1/X2.

Sad to say it, but my Mk7 has a better interior than our F30, and it was barely half the price of the BMW. I wouldn't expect too much of the G20, interiors have never been BMW's strength.

This one seems to be the M sport "non x-line". It also has the electronic gear shifter for some reason.

Id take the E-pace without a second thought, but to each his own.

On RealOEM it looks like the sheet metal is indented to accommodate them. I'd also bet they're pinned, not just taped. For maximum stupidity.

I think we do, but I’m afraid I don’t take a lot of notice of Audi, since I tested a TT a couple of years ago and my local Audi dealer offered the worst service I’ve ever experienced!!

The X2 may well be a class down from 3 series, but it costs just as much and that’s why I won’t touch it.

I take it you’re talking Golf Mk7..? If so I had one a couple of years ago and while the interior was good, my current F30 is better.. the LCI did improve the F30 centre console by a mile tho!

I disagree over bmw interiors, both my e90 and e92 had totally bulletproof interiors, I’d say as good as the Porsche I recently sold. But the F30 interior was a step down in quality definitely!! The G20 absolutely has to improve in quality, or buyers will leave in droves for C Class or A4 it really is that simple!
