Not for the X1s.

iDrive 5.0s are for July+ builds for other models.

Me too! My order seems to be back on track! Getting very excited! Genius Chat advised that my car should be delivered to the dealer week commencing 4th July! After prepping etc, hopefully I can pick it up the following weekend - fingers crossed.

Same week as me according to Genius Chat, but my dealer says the week before.

My order (2.0i xLine xDrive) just went to 5055 to be built w/c 13 June (Week 25) too. Not sure when it will get to the dealer...

Mine arrived at the dealer exactly 2 weeks after that point (5055)

Mine must have been on the boat just before yours. It was "9605 Pre EU Port of Exit" on the 30th June, and when I checked again 2 days ago it was "9630 Port of Entry"

So it's made it across to Southampton in one piece hopefully! Not long to go now!

How long does it take from the point of placing the order to being able to track the status (my order was placed last Monday)? What's required to track it in the UK, is it just the VIN?

You need the dealer order number to track it through the BMW UK website, using their "BMW Genius Chat" service. I used to go to the main site, and then click the X1 page. On the right-hand side, after a couple of seconds, you should see a Chat icon appear. If you have a word with them and give them the order number they can lookup on the same system that your sales advisor would use and give you the latest build code from one of these:

0000 Cancelled
0037 Model or Feature Unavailable
0077 No Quota Available
0097 No Current Event Allocated
0500 Cannot be Scheduled

1100 Scheduled
1200 Scheduled for Production
5000 Confirmed for Production
