3D Map in Coding

Does anyone know what does 3D Map in coding means? It is not active by default.

I believe it makes some buildings appear 3D on the map. I know when I drive into older towns, some of the historical buildings will appear 3D. I think it looks good.

I think 3D is in the Navigation settings, so you may not have to code.
