yellow drls for my bmw x3 20d m sport

hi there, i want to get CSL yellow drls for my bmw x3 20d m sport 2019 however i can't seem to find any anwhere. the closest one i found is for a x3m 2019 i presume because the lights are shaped diffrent. Is it possible to buy the x3m one and do a full light conversion or is there any other way becuase i have been looking for it for quite a while and cant seem to find anything at all. Thanks

p.s And also i want to want to make my car faster which right now also has 190hp what should i do? im already adding a bodykit also so thats why i think the drls would look nice

Power is an easy one. Tuning box or get it remapped. Unless you’re willing to get serious with exhaust and engine mods, a map is the best way to go. Googling will show you all sorts, but checkout Darkside Developments who seem to know what they’re doing with Diesel engines and have plenty of info… and videos on YT. Obviously you might mess with a warranty (if you have one) when remapping, and there’s the extra cost of declaring it to your insurers.

As for yellow DRLs… no idea. There’s a few users on here in the US who have done the conversion, but (I think) it’s only on the adaptive LED headlights or similar. From posts I’ve seen it looks a little tricky and not an ‘off the shelf’ thing, but I maybe wrong. Although it would appear it’s not illegal to have yellow DRLs in the Uk, you may get a ‘minor’ on your next MOT, and I bet at some point the Police will stop you for a chat.

I’d go with Darkside Developments over the tuning box, as the custom tune will be better and safer. They also have a great reputation within the diesel tuning community!

They’d also be better placed to offer you additional advice for future tuning and or modifications.

Yellow drl can be done only with led replacement for left and right, 2 modules each... so total 4 led replacement

... but did mine on 2 modules only, the easiest to self replace

Thanks for the kind words on my car, it’s appreciated.
The only modifications I’ve done are all cosmetic as my car is still under warranty, so I didn’t want to mess with that, especially here in the UK.
I’d speak to Darkside and see what they say or any other custom tuner or exhaust fabricator and take it from there, there will be options for you. To keep it legal, stick to a DPF back, unless you’re not worried about that?

So the outside drl is difficult to replace, do you need to remove the front wheels?

... not necessarily, may juz swift it outwards, drop front side wheelarc... but but may or may not loosen out the side of front bumper too... cuz the module is somewer at lower back from the headlight

... anyhoo, the outer drl acts double as turn signal, thats alrdy amber... so i opted to stay in white ... made it 2 tones

Yeah I’ve heard about BimmerTech, check out their YouTube channel as they do lots of informative content. Not heard of Awaken Performance though.

The Carly app and module will let you access some additional stuff for your vehicle but I believe Bimmerlink is a better option, I have this but not really messed with it much but from what other forum members say it’s the one to go for.

Whatever you decide to do, ensure you do your homework on that option.

I believe the company is called FEMTO. Try speaking to Evolve, they may be able to help you out.

Ooo ooo that m afraid not at capacity to advice further... may want to consult further advice with the tuner preferred... my apologies

... if not mstaken led drl modules for f25 are located both, outer and inner halos, at below of its headlight housing, unsure thou if they carry led module replacement only for self replace... from what i gathered, yellow drl f25 option is to fully replace of the halo rings itself... well, that may lead to opening up the headlights to replace the entire halos than rewiring it
