Little changes
Brought my wife’s car into my shop for Ceramic coating and it went through some cosmetic enhancements while I had it. A little over 30 hours in paint correction alone.

Did you replace the tweeters too by any chance? I have to admit I was shocked at how bad the stock (non-HK) sound system was. There's this piercing peak at 3-4kHz that just rips my ears apart.

Very nice! So you just replaced each door driver with those FOCALs? Great improvement? Those wheels also look pretty cool, the effect of the hub makes it look pretty concave.
Also, did you notice any difference in sound of the car with the Intake? I know the X2 28i might not be as aggressive as the m35i with the msport exhaust. I changed to my own custom open cone intake, and I swear now that it pops and bangs a lot more than usual. |

Improved sound for sure. The X2 has a sound tube that blocks virtually all turbo noise. The FTP piping and Dinan cone filter allows you to hear the turbo. Who doesn't want to hear the turbo? With how small the turbos are its never going to sound obnoxious or bothersome. The Focal speakers cleaned up the sound and wont truly shine until I introduce and aftermarket amplifier. |
