Coding USB

Hi Guys

1st timer here so wanting advice so I can activate USB video playback in my X2 2020 M35i

I have the bigger 10.25 inch screen navigation plus which has a single CD player not DVD, Apple CarPlay is also enabled. Running iDrive 6

I have just started using bimmercode!

The head unit is HU_NBT_EVO

there is no video option within id6 nor is there any video or usb option when I go into headunit on bimmercode but go into expert mode and select 3003_TELEFON_TELEMATIK_ONLINE then API_USB_VIDEO none is selected if I change to first usb or Both will this enable usb playback? Also if so what other options would have to be enable

Thanks

X2 doesn't have NBT EVO. It has ENTRYNAV2 which is not capable of playing videos from USB.

CAFD for NBT EVO and ENTRYNAV2 are the same (1EF6), that's why Bimmercode shows HU_NBT_EVO

That kills that idea then! Thank you.

On another note, I want to change the standard rear indicator bulbs to led’s. Now the bulbs are clear glass with the lens orange, would I need orange coloured led’s or white ones?

White LED unless you want 'extra deep orange'.
