Our nearby Walmart freak show used to have their shoplifting sensor at the exits cranked to 11. The person that Sam Walton hired in every store as a greeter was reassigned to the exit door as a frisker, since EVERYONE was flagged as a shoplifter by the over-sensitive sensor. Why should I be treated as a criminal every single time I set foot in their store? Thank you for shopping at Walmart indeed! I was in one of their regional stores about 20 years ago. There were two kids riding around the store on the loaner electric handicapped scooters like it was Disney World, knocking displays down and making shoppers jump out of their way. No worries though, because their mothers were chasing them on their own loaner electric handicapped scooters! The store employees just turned their backs to the whole thing, like it wasn't even happening. As I was watching this, the only thing that I could think of was that they were intentionally creating a distraction so that someone else could shoplift something expensive. Anyway, I have not set foot in one of their stores since 2002...when I also gave up my Sam's Club membership. My wife hasn't been there in years either, after reading the news articles about how they were intentionally selling poisoned dog food from China and not removing it from their shelves.....

Don't worry, only People of Walmart date People of Walmart, you're safe... unless you're a Person of Walmart. Should we be worried?

He's the surgeon I blew off twice for wanting to meet up on such short notice.
The third time he asked me out, he asked me on Thursday what my weekend plans were. Then he followed up on Friday to confirm I was still available, and again Saturday morning. We finally met up for a first date Saturday night. Then he had his last two surgeries cancel yesterday, so he texted me if I had any plans last night. He took me out to dinner and we watched Godzilla (he was on call and we couldn't go downtown in case he had to bail early, so nothing fancy.) I appreciate the fact that he's figured out if he wants to see me, he can't give me a one hour notice and he has to ask me in advance. We made a bet during the movie about a scene, bet was loser buys next date. I won the bet. He said it was a win/win for him. I asked him how and he said "because I get to take you out again." In the fucking feels!! That's how you do it guys. So sweeeeet. Anyways, we decided to do tequila tasting at a bar downtown for our third date. Let's see if he actually takes me out. |

I'm so fucking mad at myself. I left my favorite green utility fitted petite jacket at the other guy's house when I met him for brunch...... I tore my place up this morning looking for it. I checked my linen closet twice. Ironically he texted me this morning "Happy Easter. Think I have a jacket you left if you want me to put it in my mailbox or something?" No, dont put it the fucking mailbox. Ugh, now I have to drive 40 miles one way to pick it up. And now he's not answering to give me a time to be able to get it from him.
I would just order another one but I cannot find it anywhere online. #firstworldproblems. I hope he gives it back to me. Make sure you have all your stuff before telling someone you dont want to see them again. Last edited by Sara; 04-04-2021 at 05:08 PM.. |
