OBDII Software for Apple Devices

Hi.

Long time Android fan, finally switched to Apple (don't ask).

Running an 11 Pro with IOS 14 Beta 8 Developer (yes, spent the $99).

Today I went to use the BimmerLink app I bought (from same team as BimmerCode) to casually look at boost.

I can definitely tell you that it was not accurate at all compared to the TORQUE app on my Android. Not going to get into it, without causing a super long thread.

With that being said, are the issues I have with BimmerLink or IOS 14 Beta 8 and or ?

What are all of you using for standard OBD II management using Apple devices?

Just curious.

Thanks,

P.S. My OBD USB dongle has not changed and BimmerCode is still functional.

Figured it out.

It was the BimmerLink crap software. Read 14.29PSI at idle.

Pffft.

Bought OBD Fusion. Works like a charm. And there is logging and export to .csv. $10 bux, well worth it.

I'll be using this with the Dinan for sure and will share PSI results accordingly!

That sounds like it is reading absolute, not relative pressure (close to one bar). What does it read under load?

That sounds about right because I read around-.5 at idle.

Ok so they are now basically doing the math by subtracting the ambient baro.

Is the gauge entitled "MAP" or "Boost"? That's basically the difference, first is absolute, second is relative.
