I would hazard a guess that the majority of laws on the books discriminating against gays, interracial marriage, sex etc were created by democrats. These laws are predominantly over a century old, and in the south. The south until only a few decades ago was Democrat as a response against Abraham Lincoln and the northern republicans.

These words only apply if you are a Christian. If whatever you have to do to pursue your happiness makes a Christian icky and uncomfortable then it doesn't apply.

Get your facts right.

These discriminatory practices are based on the the Bible, a book of fiction supposedly based on the invisible man in the sky. Keep your beliefs inside your church or your home. The world would be a much better place if people did.
I guess you don't read well.
I agree 100% with you and stated that.
But also, the discrimination is against the gay and the Christian. And I agreed with you on the legal tender. The law says you can't REFUSE cash and demand chickens INSTEAD. My point was that you can't demand a service be provided by the provisions of this law.

I'm not a church guy and not siding with them for believing their religious beliefs. I'm just defending their right to them that is constitutionally protected as is your right to not read my posts and reply ignorantly as a result. Keep your gayness in private as I keep my straight preferences and the world will be a better place.
I went back and read what you wrote Mr Straightness.
You are wrong that a business must accept cash as a form of payment. And you a wrong about my sexual orientation. I bet you are hiding something Mr. Straightness.

To add to that, what if you were to visit an establishment that didn't allows black people, not just inter-racial couples. Would you not want your spouse to be able to visit said establishment?

This isn't a law agains gays or anone else. This is protecting someone's right to their religion. I'm not religious. I'm in an interracial marriage. If they said it was against their religion to bake sale cake etc for snow interracial couple then sure, they have the right and I'll go with my money, business, and profit for the baker somewhere else. They're loss nor mine. They want to be ignorant it's their right and choice.

That's an entirely different thing. Is the establishment not allowing black or white people because of religious beliefs or discrimination? Since there's no religion that believes in a specific color, this is discrimination.

And again you didn't read what I was replying to and totally missed the point. A prior post quoted a law saying it meant the baker was required to sell a cake for a gay wedding. The law didn't say that. It was about what tender was acceptable, not if a service was required to be performed gay boy.
Hey everybody The Governor of North Carolina is Fundguy. His true colors exposed. Not that we did not know it already.

Wow...... Because something is "popular" doesn't make it legal or right. Back in the day slavery was popular. Do you think slavery is right? Following that era it was popular to discrimate against African Americans. Are you for discriminating against a group of people because of there skin color? The Supreme Court is the ultimate interpreter of the constitution......which happens to be the law of the land here in these United States. So when the Supreme Court rules an act/bill or law as unconstitutional.......... It's unconstitutional whether it's popular or not
We are not talking about slavery, nor skin color. We are talking about personal choices. The SCOTUS ruling was on very shaky legal ground, without precedent, and overturning a number of popular votes. It's wholly different than a slavery argument.
