Yes, although you can't order it yet. SOP is 11/15.

Just tried building one in the configurator... The monthly payment always seems high for MSRP... Why is that? Is the residual low? Any published rates yet? I guess not...

Pretty sure they can be ordered, at least they could when I got the order guide back in July. You just had to wait since production doesn't start until Nov.

Perhaps in other countries. But here in the US, in talking with my local dealer two weeks ago, he said M-Sport can't yet be ordered. He had to check with BMW headquarters and get back to me to confirm, since I was ready to order it right there at the dealership.

It's always possible that my CA was mis-informed, but I'm fairly sure if there was any way for him to have taken my money for an M-Sport X1, he would have taken it.

New footage of offroad demo at the IAA:

xLine trim in Glacier Silver and Sport trim in Sparkling Brown. Still anxiously waiting to see xLine in Platinum Silver, the colour I ordered. Might not see it before delivery next month!

It's impressive how smoothly it comes down those steps at 00:40, compared to the other videos on their channel (Macan, Hyundai Tucson, etc.). It's as though it's rolling down a perfectly smooth road.

Thanks for posting! I am really excited now that I saw my ordered color "glacier silver" - looks great! Delivery is scheduled for next month - car has passed "Quality Check stage" and is transferred to Sales waiting for shipment!

I am sure that Platinum Silver will be great as well :-)

Is that a new law? Both of my BMWs have Xenon lights but neither have headlight washers.

Cool. Did you go for xLine or Sport? The one in the video seems to be xLine with optional black roof rail and window trim. UK xLine gets aluminum exterior trim as standard. Black costs an extra £350 (free in Sport).

I got the regular model and used the (x-line) money for extra options. I have installed the aluminium roof rails and black exterior trim (goes better on glacier silver instead of aluminium trim). However, in your case, I think aluminium trim goes really well with the Platinum Silver (saw it on 2 series active tourer and it looks great).

Nice one. They've just release over 100 photos for the official UK launch (even though it's been on sale since August): http://www.carscoops.com/2015/09/new...n-britain.html

The more I look at the M Sport, the more I dislike it. It looks like a fat hatchback rather than a sporty SUV. It's not like that at all with larger X3 and X5. But the black plastic cladding in SE, Sport and xLine make it look much more rugged and angry. Glad I didn't wait for M Sport.

I have driven de 1.8D s drive last friday and visited the IAA Frankfurt today to see the other models like the M sport.
I don't like the sportseats (seats are from Mini) and the quality inside is also less than from my F31 so i finally decided to go for a 3GT instead.

The more I see the X1, the more I want one. This review sings the X1 good praises - http://www.bmwblog.com/2015/10/15/20...q3-test-drive/

Curious if MB can equip AMG GLA45 with a 375-hp turbo 2.0-liter four with 332 lb-ft, a seven-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive what's preventing BMW from doing the same?

There are rumors there will be more power coming as an option later this year. Just rumors for now, though.

Also, Burger Tuning and Dinan are both rumored to be working on tuning solutions for the existing X1.
