Are All-Weather Mats Included w/ New Purchase?

Are All Weather Mats included with the purchase of an X1?

In my negotiations the dealer has listed a couple of things that they will do prior to delivery "of course, at no cost to me"...just cause they're nice like that! And one of the items that stuck out was the all weather mats. They also indicated something about the paint to keep it from chipping, I thought?

Curious, if these are already included with each new purchase and they're making it sound like it's a perk that they provide?

They might be offering free paint touch ups but I doubt there is anyway to eliminate paint from chipping except for raw metal.

Ours came with carpeted mats, I plan on buying Weathertech mats as soon as they are available

We have the choice of either carpeted or rubber mats with ours. But ditto getting some WeatherTech mats when they become available. I have already requested the product through WeatherTech hopefully others are doing the same.

I would have went with weathertech, but opted for the OEM ones. You can get a few color combos on ebay for $135 for all 4 shipped. Not bad at all.

It is definitely a perk. The rubber mats for all four footwells can go as high as $150 Canadian. I had a salesman who promised them for me and then found out he overstepped his abilities. In the end he paid for them out of his own pocket. I insisted that he wasn't obliged to do that but in the end I thought if he wants to and made the promise why not. Maybe next time he'll check with his manager before making promises he can't keep without digging into his own wallet

Depends on the dealership and maybe even the car, and it may come out of the salesman's cut. I've always got a set "thrown in" with the 5 or 6 cars I've had, but when we placed the (tentative) order for the F48, it was listed as part of a "lump" dealer charge. Also, wasn't able to get our usual discount on the F48... our usual sales guy claims it's because it's a brandnew model and they can't keep them on the lot.
