Mirror cap options
I am not a fan of the grey caps on the m35i, they are a bitch to keep clean and hard to clean without leaving spots.
I was hoping bmw sold them painted but they are just primed. Any options out there? I have seen a bmw part number for carbon caps but I can’t find them through bmw. I also wonder if it’s legit cf. |

I think the grey mirrors look sporty, but it shouldn't cost much to have a set painted. I have Med Blue mirrors. I had them covered with paint protection film, but the installer did a crappy job.

I plan to just buy OEM caps and have a body shop spray them in Jet Black (code 668)... Would flow nicely if you have tint and the shiny black B-pillars...
