Nice. Did you find the 245 35 18's to be enough rubber in the rear? Did you run the car at the track with the stock tires for comparison? Did you gain 2-4 seconds with the R compounds? You are running TKC coilovers? How is the tire wear in the front at the track with the camber plates? Running -3 degrees?

A little OT but what are your feelings regarding the 18x8.5 SSR Comps with 245-35-18 Goodyear F1s on the street?

I'd kind of like to eliminate much of the understeer but I am concerned about the slightly narrower rear tire being unable to put the power down effectively.

Any thoughts? Any thoughts on the SSRs as my street wheels? Good/bad??? I am really after a lightweight wheel more than "Cool" factor, but I don't want em' to look rough either.

Run a 245 in front and a 255 in back. That little difference should not make a big difference on the understeer and you would have a nice patch to get the rubber down. The stock 225 to 255 is a 30mm difference so if you get the 245to 255 you only have 10mm space which is still 20mm less than the stcok combo. This combo should work niceley as a compromise. Give it a try and let us know how it works out.

This will defeat one of the purposes of running all the same size: you can rotate any tire to any corner throughout the day to even out tire wear.
