Will Maxton Fronter Splitter Cover This Blemish?
For those with the Maxton Design Front Lip Spoiler will it cover the blemish on my front bumper? I've been dealing with this since I bought the car from the original owner in 2019 and it's always annoyed me but since it's only seen at certain angles and very low to the ground haven't repainted the bumper since I'm more concerned the bumper won't match the rest of the car if I do that.
If this spoiler covers that spot it would be the perfect solution. |

I had a similiar blemish and brought it to a workshop and using smart repair it was fixed and no difference in color. I have a black car, don’t if that makes it easier than white…

I saw your post on FB.. and just figured I'd answer again here. No, the front splitter does not go that high.
BMW does have a touch up paint package that includes a clear coat. Dabbing on the paint with a toothpick should let you cover it without building up too much paint, and then follow with the clear. It'll be all but gone and you definitely won't see it. Heck, even if you manhandle it and use the brush you probably can't tell. (but yes.. do the toothpick method). |
