how long did it take from "production complete" status (if you checked it using a vin tracker) to being delivered to the dealership ?

OK. Seems strange. How about european ones?

Mine was produced on 7/10 (what a shame, I ordred in back in June...) and is planned to reach dealership in Paris 1st week of november at the latest, which might be shorter according to my sales agent. Official launch date here is oct 24th and deliveries should not happen before this date.

I ordered it in July - it was produced faster than yours (maybe my dealer had a ready slot), but it is sitting in the factory for one month now! Hopefully it gets shipped this week so I can get it by the beginning of November. I hate waiting

Do you know if Servotronic is now standard on all x1? because I do not see it in the list of options when I checked my VIN

Congrats!!

I would also love to see a few pics of the interior. It is pretty crazy that I am about an hour away from the plant that is actually building the new X1 and you received your car before I did, lol.

Either way it will be great to see pics of a US spec car. What packages were included on the vehicle? Thanks!!

Nick

From what I've read, one major equipment difference between US and EU packages is the inclusion, for US only, of knee airbags. Those seems to be missing from EU specs.

Guys, it sounds like BMW is intentionally holding the cars until the official launch kicks off at dealerships. Write some reviews when you get your cars...

That's a possibility, but I'm afraid some cars might not yet be waiting for collection next week...

I'll review mine for sure ;-)

Hi guyes, I write fron Italy, and excuse me for my english. I ordered two weeks ago the new X1, 25 d, XLine version with some interesting optional as Driving assistance plus, or automatic gear sport, or again comfort access. Probably in each country there are different combination of accessories.
I will have the new car at the end of long term rent of the actual car, a BMW 320 F31, more or less at the end of the next month of March!!! I must wait six months to have the new X1, color mineral grey.
Only one question that I haven't understood: the difference between the automatic gear and automatic gear sport. I'm looking for the difference on Internet, about images or information but I wasn't able to find something. On BMW site, is written that there is the launch control and the lever gear is lowered. Have you other information or images about it!
Thank you a lot in advance

It seems that in the F48 the shifting paddles are already present with the "normal" automatic. I didn't find the different models of lever.
I know that is only a ridiculous question, but every element during the choice of a car, becomes a question of life or murder!!

Maybe in Europe, but in the US the normal X1 comes standard in xLine trim and doesn't have the shift paddles. Must get M-Sport to get sport seats and the paddles.

Should arrive in a couple days!

I should be getting my new X1 Friday or Saturday. I ordered black/black dakota leather, prem package, driver asst package, cold weather pack, nav business and a few other things I can't think of at the moment. I absolutely love the new X1. I ruled out the previous model due to the height and closed in feeling in the drivers seat. I was just about the sign on the dotted line for a new X3 and somehow we started talking about the X1. I was told about the new model and put down the pen. I test drove the one and only they had and fell in love. The X1 meets my needs so much more than the X3. The X3 is just too much car for me. I love the new height…...which is important to me! Can't wait to get it.

So jealous of everyone! It looks like my vehicle rolled off the production line today. The production date is Oct 21st. Hope that the car will be here soon considering Regensburg is right down the road.

Funny enough I saw a few train cars full of new BMW's today, including a bunch of X1's.
