higher K bulbs for the M coupe
Guys, as per our previous meet (only 3-4 guys came )
our bulbs seem a bit yellow. wondering if anyone has done say 8000K bulbs and if there are any heat issues? Don't want the Rice blue look... like those crx's or old hatchbacks... P.S. if you do have an old rice mobile.. don't just put the blue bulbs in, adjust your damn head lights so they point lower... friggen get them in our eyes at night all the time... it's not cool... betcha think it is hahah. give some respect to others that share the road with you. any brands that fellow members have used that are good quality and worth putting in... pain in the arse to put them in and have them burn out quickly... appreciate the help.

JMO, but the OE are fine with me.

Not really.
I'm beginning to wonder if the previous owner changed them.

I replaced mine with 5k bulbs from plasmagarage.com now it's much whiter but without the blueish purplish rice look. Plus the higher temp you go the less light the bulb produces, the loss from stock 4300k to 5000k is minimal but color difference is significant, will try to post pics later.

I've got 6k Philips Ultinon Bulbs in mine.
You will not have any heat issues.

Yea the stocks are whitish blue compared to halogen bulbs but the light output onto the ground still has a yellowish tint.
