2008 bmw 335i or 2006 750i

New here. Was a member on e46fanatics before i sold the car. I am looking in to getting back in a bimmer soon. Cannot decide between the 2006 750i or the 08 335i. I like the speed in the e90 and it is a fun drive. However, the 7 is classier, and would be taken more serious in my profession (re) as well as the fact that I think it is absolutely gorgeous. I get alot of criticism from friends regarding the 7 being a older persons car. The car would be a present from parents for my 21st. Thoughts? Thanks for any input.

I respect that you are going for a professional look, but I would gow ith the 335i for sure. It is still a classy ride (assuming you don't mod it out) and way more appropriate for your age. I would not get a 7 series until I'm at least in my 40s! Every time I see a young guy driving a 7 series, s class or a8, I just assume they are borrowing their parents' car.

40s forget it 80s in my case. Thinking about it I'd say never the 5 series is the max I that I would ever buy

7 IS an older ppl's car but I also understand ur concern with the 335, especially since you're in CA and if you're in the Bay Area in NorCal, every other car on the street is a 3 series. Any other options?

Yeah but the 7 is not exactly a rare car in CA. I do see your point about how there are a ton of 3's on the street, but I still think it is a much more appropriate car for a younger guy. I love the 7 series and will definitely want to have one in the future, but for now the 3 is the way to go IMO. And definitely go for the e92 or e93, unless you need the practicality of a sedan. I was a bit hesitant to get a coupe myself because I have a 50-lb dog, but it has worked out fine and I have no regrets!
