Under driver seat storage
I have a late model 2018 X1, I have just noticed that it doesn't have the storage box under the driver seat like I saw on some of the video on YouTube. Does BMW cut corner for MY 2018+, or the dealer stole it? I really like the idea of an under-seat storage, could someone with 2018+ help me to understand?

I've got them on my wife's 2018 X1 (late march build) . We never use them and forget most of the time we even have them. You aren't missing much.

I only keep the key for the roof box down there but haven't found anything else that could go in there yet. I like the idea as cubbys are always nice to have.

Anyone try installing it under a seat afterwards? I would assume it will bolt in under a seat easily as long as you have the storage compartment part (looks to be part # 52107393683 for driver side)

Thanks for sharing the info. Got an used X1 three weeks ago and never realized there is under seat storage. Although small, helps to put some clutter in there.
Have sports seats on both driver and passenger side and both seats have the storage. |
