Ferrari has 3 models at the moment. F430, 599 and 612. Four if you count the Scud as it's own model. I don't consider the Challenge a model because it's not street legal.

In the grand scheme of things, BMWs are nothing special. Better than 95+% of other cars out there, but not exclusive.

that's true, currently. i was thinking more in the past 10-15 years, you can't even keep up with everything they've had on the road.

If you live in a major metropolitan area, yes. About 80% of Americans live in towns with fewer than 500k people, iirc. About 10% are around the 3 largest cities (Chicago, NYC, LA), another 10% around the +1M cities, and everyone else is fairly rural.

Because our media focuses on the big cities, it's easy to forget how different life is for most of the US. I'm originally from KY, and visits home have shown that even the humble 325i garners interest there. My Z4 2.5i got as much or more attention than a Ferrari would in Chicago. One of my aunts asked why people were waving, pointing, and giving me the thumbs-up.

Lots more models come in addition to what we see today. Z2, V, F, MINI Crossman, and some kind of "city car" below the 1er. Plus who knows what else is under consideration.

Exactly. Lots of people on this forum live in CA (especially SoCal), NY, NJ, and FL. These places are teeming with Bimmers, but as soon as you get out of these highly affluent areas Bimmers are actually quite exclusive.

Progressive Activity Sedan. Basically a more family friendly 5. I really don't get it. It's basically a hatch or something. I dunno. I think the PAS is a completely unnecessary model.
