Great stuff, thanks for posting that!

Will make interesting reading on my flight to Munich in a couple months.

So in reading the suspension info, it says Dynamic Damper Control is available as an option. Is that true for the USA models? Is that the adjustable suspension that BMW makes available for the BMW lines? I thought it's called Adaptive M Suspension. I'm slightly confused.

I guess in a nutshell my question is this, am I able to order any adjustable suspension for this X1 where I can make my car ride soft or hard based on my driving preference?

What I find most interesting is that the X1 has launch control at all.

For those that have read it or have the time to read it, is the PHEV mentioned anywhere? I'm almost wishing for a 3cyl because when the engine does run it sounds more like an i6, none of the buzzy i4 nonsense. It won't be for me though so whichever is fine, it will replace our aging CRV and sit next to my i3 REx in the garage.

Good looking car but I still cant get used to the fwd profile. Hideous. Whats the difference between this and the 2ser Gt xdrive??! Terrible interior though. So unbmw like. However if some of the exterior design reaches the x3 and bmw finally produce a decent eps maybe who knows I might just trade my Macan for one

so is it good looking or hideous. and the interior is very BMW (except shifter) also, nothing is wrong with the EPs. you only think there is cause a magazine said it 4 years ago.

The parking brake now works with the ESC to brake the rear calipers and also has an emergency feature for cases where the brake pedal doesnt works. Never heard of a parking brake working with the ESC, this seems new.

Nice one. Do you happen to have the owners' manual as well? The link on BMW USA still directs me to the PDF for E84. And the UK website doesn't provide PDF files at all.

Would love to have a read before picking up my car in a couple of weeks.

These are U.S. training documents. Since we don't have the B47 here, what you're asking for doesn't exist.

Cheers for that. US version has also been updated to F48 now. I'm guessing they weren't allowed to publish anything until after the official launch on 24th OCT.

Hi Speedrick, there is an app for iPad to allow you to download the drivers handbook, not sure about android but you will need the vin. Once downloaded, you will get a picture of your car as the spec. It is similar to the drivers handbook that comes with the car. Also there are a few videos as well.

Rgds,

Hi Eric,
If you search in the App Store for BMW you should see BMW Diver’s Guide and BMW i Driver’s Guide in the list. There are other BMW apps as well.

Regards
John.
