Does BMW Tire and Rm Protection cover normal tire wear?
Hi all,
I have a question about the Tire and Rim protection that BMW offers. Ok, I understand that this covers damage to the tires (nails, glass, etc.). But what about normal tire wear. Let's say I drive 80k on pristine black highways and never get a nail, glass, puncture (unlikely, but humour me). So after 2 years the run-flats are just worn almost bald. Can I bring them into BMW and have them replaced with new tires? Does the program work like this? |

It's a good warranty if u are driving or living in new home construction zones
It does not cover normal wear but covers nails, potholes damage curb rash to rims too I've had a great experience in Canada so far as it's a brand new tire replacement with no hassles, no deductible and rental car use every time it's flat and in service. |

I can't comment for the Canadian market, but I'd lay good money that it's pretty similar to ours in Australia, where normal wear is specifically excluded — as is the case with most insurances, I note.
