I just can't get past the "iPad" looking thingy on the dashboard. It needs to be integrated. I looked at the GMC Terrain and found the integrated screen very sleek. Not impressed.

I beg to differ. With a freestanding display you can have a lower dash which gives a more airy interior.
I'm not a fan of the silvery surround in particular case though, it looks better in e.g. the F30.

If you think that is bad just look at what mercedes and audi are doing with their screens lol
