Recall

Mine was checked yesterday. Dealer said there was no need to remove instrument panel ( I was told they would use an endoscope/boroscope to check).
Coding data was upgraded. Was told this was a firmware update. All went well so no complaints.

Hmm I wasn't advised if my firmware was updated.

Is there a way to check.. Version number etc?

If you have the coding software and cable you can check the installed software version. Mine was updated recently by the dealer, and I had to re-code the options I had set after getting a more recent copy of the software. I'm not sure if there's a way to check the version through iDrive though...
