I like Mercedes but.. Merc fans are worse than GTR fanboys these days love seeing them try defend their bus van taxis
BMW is just as mainstream....

That's fine though. BMW is a business, and every business is out to make money. We're going to see BMW,Mercedes, and Audi start pumping out cars so they can steal away Toyota Camry, Honda Accord buyers.

Why have such strong hate towards something that has no impact on the quality of your life and attack the people who don't agree with you?

attack? I like merc I dont want to see a brand I like make a pick up truck.. same with bmw dont like that they made the active tourer. Its my opinion.. merc fanboys are just getting defensive some others on a merc fourm have seen this post and have laughed at the ones trying to defend it its actually quite funny.
"Read what I wrote before you "think" idiot" ... Really?

So in your opinion, it's ugly.. What makes your opinion any better.

You think it's ugly, others don't. Just because someone has a different opinion than you doesn't make it wrong. There's always going to be 2 sides, and each side is going to defend their opinion. Has nothing to do with being a fanboy.

I don't see how people reacted on the merc forum is relevant to how people react on this forum.

I'm not even a merc fan and I don't hate that car.

Where did i say its Ugly?? please provide evidence or a quote where I said this car was ugly then come back to me.

I dont care if youre a fan or read what I said properly casue you clearly dont understand..
Makes 0 to no difference if you actually said it's ugly or not. Opinion is an opinion. Even if you think the car is a bad idea and others don't. It's still an opposing opinion. Don't get to hung up on the words, it was an example. Try to get the bigger picture.

Now I am confused! As press information confirms that the FT-1 is the car that is jointly developed with BMW.

Why is it taking so long before we see any fruits of this collaboration?

Competition (Mercedes, Audi and even Jaguar and Volvo) are pumping goodlooking cars with very high quality interiors into the market. When can we expect BMW to pick up this fight and show how it's done. Because interiors are the weakest part of BMWs these days. We need a more exclusive interior (not only in 7 series) but in the whole range.

Ugh, the other way around my friend; you've heard of the Dodge Sprinter Van haven't you?

OP, Mercedes Benz has been making trucks since WWII. Having Nissan make a rebadged one for them is no big deal. Not sure why they picked Nissan though - not the leading edge of pick up trucks IMO.

Sorry but that is bollox, there is no way on Earth a BMW can be deemed Exclusive in the UK.

People do not buy them for this, it's very much down to either brand loyalty or the 20% + discounts and low apr's.

Just in my road alone there are plenty various types of new from 2 series to a number of M cars.

This pick up is coming because Merc teamed up with Nissan. Nissan is providing the underpinnings, I believe.

Is that last picture the X4? Whatever it is, it's hideous. 3GT looks passable in M-sport form, that's about it. 2GT is a complete joke of a car.

The only good thing about cars like these is that it makes the classic BMWs more and more desirable and valuable. Thank you, BMW.
