Need Help! Moving Wires from 8 pin OABR to 20 pin OABR

I am in the middle of installing the NBT EVO ID6 unit and I was instructed to move 3 wires from the old 8 pin OABR to the new 20 pin OABR. One of the wires terminal broke off when I was trying to get it out. Can I just strip the wire and insert it into the new OABR and secure with electrical tape or do I need to get a terminal plug and crimp it?

Hopefully I could just tape it.

Thanks for any help.
