The last time it rained downunder (which seems like years ago), I thought mine did not stop when the car stopped. IIRC they did reduce their sweep frequency (which is prob better than stopping altogether).
Btw, If the front wipers are on, then is the rear wiper meant to come on when you engage reverse gear?

It's raining furious today.. and the wipers have a mind of their own. Definitely a few times when I was at a stop light the wipers lagged to a 9 second interval vs 3 seconds when driving. It also just slowed to 5/6 seconds. Still I'm not sure how much sensor vs speed related it was. I backed out of my driveway and the rear wiper didn't go off.. although every other vehicle I have with a rear wiper does do it once in reverse.. mine might just not have met enough criteria this morning. I use the backup camera anyways
