Gloss black wheel arch trim

Has anyone painted their wheel arch trim gloss black? While it comes as matte black from the factory I was thinking of giving it a glossy shine (similar to the M sport versions) while retaining the x-line package look.

Hi there! I tried to paint mine on xline but the paint shop advised against doing so. They said it’s because the textured finish won’t look good or last that long.

I ended up converting to Msport body trims. On this though, you need to be fully committed as the wheel arch trims are different and you most certainly need to change the rear and front bumpers at least.

Thanks, do you have a picture of when you had it painted?

I don’t have any pictures of the painted trims because I just bought the Msport alpine coloured ones from a salvage yard. Thanks

Yes, plug and play but you need to have all the correct and compatible trims. As mentioned previously, you will need to change bumpers and side skirts too.

Thanks
