Drivetrain malfunction: 420102 Electric motor clutch2: line disconnection

I have an X1 and I was and was getting a notification "Secure vehicle with parking brake when stopped. Consult the service center. I did some research and found out that was because of a broken spring in the shift assembly. I replace the spring and when assembled I got the drivetrain malfunction. I took it to the dealership and they wanted to replace the entire assembly. I ordered the part and did it myself however the drivetrain malfunction did not go away and I cannot clear it. Does anyone have an idea as to how to fix this problem? or have a diagram that explains motor clutch 2?
