Should I get Black/Black or Black/Red ?
I can't decide if i should get black/black or black/coral red ... I really like both interior colors and can't make up my mind. What do you guys think?

I got the red and really like it. I have always said (and still believe) that there is nothing better looking than a black interior. BUT the black/black combo is just too colorless. The coral really highlights the black and give the car some PIZZAZ!. Have gotten numerous compliments on it. I also suggest going with the grey poplar trim rather than the alum. BTW, I'm closer to 60 yrs old than I would like to admit.

Question: Have you seen a car with a coral red/alum combo? It's amazing.
I was converted and chose to go with that combo after I saw my CA's e92 (he actually has Sapph Blk/Coral Red/Alum...it's hoooot). I would definitely recommend the red. It'll stand out...there's too many black interiors out on the road. And c'mon...who hasn't seen a black on black car?

^ that is exactly what they have black/coral red/grey poplar ...
I agree with you that black/black has a more conservative look ... but sometimes i think it will be too red inside the car ... do you guys have feeling like it's too much red sometimes? |

It really isn't. Don't go by the BMWUSA visualizer either...it's way too bright. I and a few others posted a couple topics asking ppl whether or not it gets on the owner's nerves after a while...they all said it was fine and that they've recieved countless numbers of positive recognition for it.

Isn't buying a new car something like buying a house?
You don't want anything too "out there" when decorating because it conceivably cuts down on prospective buyers. Red looks amazing -- for now. But unlike a house, you just can't tone it down with another colour in a few years. Black on black (but I'm biased). |

I have black on black and it looks great. It's also a business car for me, so I wanted fairly conservative (for a bimmer, anyway!), and black/black was on the lot. If it were just me driving to/fro work. and I could order exactly what I wanted, I'd go red. It looks amazing.
I also second the aluminum trim. But hey, I'm an Ohio State alum too. Love the red / gray.

I find BMW to have some boring colors. I wish BMW offered phoenix yellow or imola red like on the M3's as exterior. I played it safe and went black exterior. As far as the interior, i fell in love with coral, giving that sporty look at a twin turbo car. Black/Black combo is also nice. Cant go wrong with either combo but My vote is on coral red if u want to mix a little |

One more vote for the conservative BLACK/BLACK.
