Brazilian steakhouse? You just gave me date plans for next weekend. It's been a while since we've been to one. My mouth is watering already!

If you haven't been to one, google and take the girlfriend.....if she's made it to that status yet. Seriously damn good food and a lot of it. A little pricey, but well worth the price of admission.

Doood!!

Wait staff just wander between tables with differing types of meats on skewers. You want, they slice some on your plate.

Checking OpenTable. . . .

At 42, I'm 30 pounds lighter than I was in high school. I'm down from 211 in November and I'm 5' 9". The goal isn't to be huge; it's to be comfortable, ripped and low body fat percentage. I'm going the long difficult road - lose the body fat first, then build muscle after. I'd rather be small and defined than just big. I've gone from wearing 38" waist pants in November, to wearing 32's now. If I don't wear a belt, they won't stay up. I'm probably a 29" waist at this point. Currently working on finishing out the 6 pack; should be about another month at the rate I'm going. From someone whose belly hang over my belt just a few months ago, I'm pretty happy at 145. The goal is to be around 160-165 and somewhere between 10-12% body fat by January.
Damn 211 to 145? I need to be in a death camp to accomplish that. I'm going the other way. Buying new clothes cuz your fat ain't fun.

Look for "Rodizio." That's what the endless meat on a spit dish is called. Around these parts I head over to the Iron Bound (Portuguese) section of Newark. Crazy good and not usually expensive.

I think that's similar to a steak house here called Texas De Brazil.

I've been off the bike for exactly two weeks due to travel and I've gained 7 freakin' pounds. I worked my butt off (literally) to get down to 200lbs, and now I'm back to 220lbs because of back-to-back trips. And while we were in London, we averaged 5 miles a day walking. Wasn't enough for me to offset the awesome eating we did. Starting Monday (when this stupid humidity ends), I'll be back to 100 miles per week on the bike and watching my intake more closely. Need to drop this vacation weight. (Sure was enjoyable putting it on, though. We done ate good in London.)

Blackened shrimp, skillet green beans, mac & cheese. The shrimp was outstanding, but I wish I made more, and gotten bigger shrimp.

LOTS of freaking cardio man; followed by completely changing how, what and when I eat. I'm in the same boat with buying clothes. Sucks because all the clothes I bought last summer and last winter are now unwearable.

Same thing with me. I gave away a half dozen large trash bags of decent clothes, including some shirts I bought a year or so ago that still had the tags on them. And now I'm donating my entire collection of sport coats (25) to the Menswearhouse event. It's a good cause and those coats are huge on me now. I'm still trying to figure out how I ended up with so many.
