Currently It's still unclear if it is MAX's spec. 3 or 4 HONDA PU , but everything went according the FIA regulations .

Interesting fact is that HAM and MAX ran today during the QF's with the PU's at 120 % !
It's very clear that MAX's refurbished HONDA PU is the antidote for HAM's ROCKETSHIP !
On the other hand : MAX was forced to run with softs and a tow to beat HAM , that's how fast HAM's Rocketship really is !

Based on the data, acceleration in the straights was much closer today than it has been over the last 6 races. Maybe Merc started the refurbishment process post Silverstone and RBR finally got wise to it and replicated it for their PUs.

Other than Max's GB DNF, he's finished ahead of / taken points away from VER once this year? Lame given the equipment.

Merc should have put RUS in the car at some point this season to help HAM secure the championship. Give him a head start on next year, with the directive you're racing VER not HAM.

Why not have max boost on the refurbished one, the reliable PU can take it and always quicker in Max's hands.
