F39 Gearbox problem

Hi guys,

I have a gearbox problem on my X2 2.0i sdrive. After a front end collision the gearbox seems to be disengaged from the car. The little green light on the gear selector in also not showing. I'm able to start the car however I can't put it into gear.
Do you guys have any idea what might be the issue?

It seems like the system has either purposefully disabled itself to prevent further damage to the engine and transmission or something else is wrong.

Based on your images, seems like there were no airbags deployed, so I am guessing that it is a definition of a fender-bender. But there apparently is some sensor that detects collisions overriding the whole system.

Might need to flatbed it to a dealership to resolve the issue unfortunately.
