X2 28xDrive Battery Type?

With my X2 sitting for days at a time, the battery keeps getting low. I bought a CTEK battery tender, but now I'm trying to figure out if the X2 has an AGM battery. I believe so. Does anyone know for sure. I have no access to the Owner's Manual right now (I assume it would tell me) and I'm finding all kinds of conflicting answers on the Internet. Any info would be appreciated!

Any reason you'd have access to the internet / this forum but not to the electronic online manual?

Most reliable way to check is to look at the battery and see if it has the letters AGM on top.

If you replace the battery, don't forget that you have to reset the battery monitoring chip. Most BMW-specific diagnostic tools can do this, and some apps.

Yes. I was traveling (in my other car) and did not have access to my laptop. Have you ever tried to read an owner's manual on an iPhone?

Thanks. I'm back in town and we'll see how it goes. I had to replace/code the battery on my wife's previous BMW (1 Series) as well. She doesn't drive enough to keep the battery in shape. Her X2 is jusover 3 years old and has under 10,000 miles on it.

Yes I use it via the Mybmw app from time to time. Just wanted to check & make sure you knew it was out there in case you didn't.
