The John Deere dealer didn't have the hydraulic rams available to control my snow plow's angle, so I have to get my butt out of my air ride seat and heated cab to change the angle on my blade. It's like I might as well just pay the neighbor kids to shovel the snow.

That's only 10 bite size pieces of fish. You need some soft shell, crab, calamari and some udon too. The last time I went to a Japanese restaurant, the bill came up to $300 without tip.

Just have to hold my breath till then. If they have to dig up the concrete decking around the pool it could be major.
Sorry to hear this. Good luck.

Our pool pump notices when the temp drops below freezing and immediately kicks on cycling between the pool and hot tub. Does yours not have that feature?

If there was no power then pool equipment won't function anyway.

My first world problem today. Ran out of lactose free milk for my coffee this morning so had to have standard full cream. Not allergic or anything just prefer the taste. Not a good start to the day

I have about 1 days worth of milk left for lattes and then I'm out. Damned roads better be drivable soon!

I don't know...surely one of your Lambos is shaped more like a plow than the others...just take that and go for it.

Might need a little detailing after, but it'll buff right out. As an added bonus, this gets you more time with the detailer, who will find a new and creative way to get your hopes up before she stomps all over them again.

But at least you'll have milk for your lattes.

I feel like I just witnessed a literary version of a Mike Tyson fight, followed by an extension of an olive branch by the means of latte milk, that he was made to procure himself after said beating.

Ugh.

I highly recommend a Generac. A natural gas connection is preferred, as well...usually the last thing to go out in a disaster.

InstaCart or Shipt might be best bet whenever stores and roads are open. If it’s anything like post-Hurricane shopping, stores suck. Good luck.

Agreed! We have a Generac with natural gas, first time the power went out and it kicked on....oh it made it all worthwhile. And every time after that I still sort of smile, got lights, heat, water, do whatever I want pretty much and its like I'm unaffected.

We went away one time during an ice storm and gave our neighbours the key so they could shower and cook in our house - good thing too because apparently the power didn't come back for about 3 days. Shortly thereafter, they invested in a generator. Specifically, the wife told the husband they were getting a generator or else.

It wasn't an investment in a generator, it was an investment in his future.
