Vanity light for sun visors

I have searched various sites and can't find any info on this. Are there any sunvisors that have built in vanity lights for the 2016 X1?

Don't you have the vanity light installed in the headliner beneath the sun visor? In my X1 it is actuated when you slide the sun visors' mirror cover open. You might be able to install a sun visor from the Mini Cooper that has that option but wiring could me a nightmare.

Exactly. Your visor should have the built in light

Smile Replace vanity light

Hey there,
My 2016 BMW X1 driver vanity light isn't coming on. How do I replace the light? I've searched online and couldn't find any information on the newer X1 models.

That happened in my 2018 X1 and BMW service found/fixed a loose wire.

Also, the light does not turn on when the visor is extended towards the rear view mirror or rotated to the side window, where the mirror is not used and the light is not needed.
