Just bought a lovely 12k AW 35i from Main dealer. Was surprised it doesn't have the auto tilt parking mirror on passenger side (yes I've set the mirror adjustment switch to drivers side) Can someone confirm or is mine just not working!? I have UK spec with only options of leather & M35i plus pack!

Mine tilts, do your mirrors fold? Mine tilt in reverse and I coded to fold when I lock the car
Again I have a 2019 US spec so things might have changed

No mine doesn't have power fold and I checked the original spec sheet which says you need vision pack in UK for power fold mirrors! Maybe that also includes the parking function!

No tilt when selecting reverse here either :

I don't have folding mirrors either if that helps

The added frustration being if you configure one on BMW's website currently it shows 'Folding Wing Mirrors with Auto Dimming' as Standard Equipment ☑️

Well they do fold, just not automatically!

Try setting your mirror adjustment switch to the centre or to the drivers mirror and try again. It will not tilt when the selector is on the passenger mirror.

Yes I've tried that thanks! It took me a year to realise that on my 340i

I don't think I've ever seen a BMW without a passenger side mirror tilt. Perhaps you should talk to dealership?

Have you tried with the switch set to the right (for driver side mirror adjustment)?

Having said that if I remember rightly the only cars I've owned with auto tilt park function had powerfold mirrors so it seems the two go hand in hand!

Yes I will do, although another UK owner above has said theirs doesn't either! I seem to recall that my only cars with this function had powerfold mirrors so it may well be correct that mine doesn't have the function!

Thanks CueBase. I will definitely mention to dealer although from past experience it seems that here in the UK we only get this function on cars with power fold mirrors. All previous cars I've owned have only had auto tilt park function where the mirrors were power folding! Strange as it's a completely different motor which is obviously present in my car as you can still operate the motor manually from the drivers side! :

I also don't have power fold mirrors but my glass will tilt down in reverse if R/L window adjustment switch is set to one side or the other (I think passenger side IIRC).
