Question Working VIN decoder for 2021 X1

Just picked up a CPO 2021 X1, and I'm trying to figure out exactly what features is has.

Anyone of a VIN decoder that will work for this model and year (USA model)? mdecoder says that it can't find the vehicle.

Thanks!

Verify that you're inputting the correct 17 VIN digits. I just did a quick google search and copied/pasted the following VIN of this 2021 X1 (on the www.mdecoder.com website) and it worked: WBXJG9C01M5T94314

The site also worked to decode this 2023 X1: WBX73EF01P5W18583

Make sure you're using numeric zeros & not (alpha) "O"s or other alpha/numeric characters that can be confused with each other I/O/Q/U/V/Z/ vs 1/2/0.

I'm copying the VIN directly out of mygarage.bmwusa.com.

I’ve done that before and unintentionally copied an empty space…or when pasting the VIN into the search box…one or more of the last digits didn’t make it which ended in a failure for the site to find info.

If you still can’t get the mdecoder site to work…did you try the other site that was given in the 2nd reply above by Homersbud?

bimmer.work is the the best. gives you not only all the options decoded but also a graphic look at inside and outside configuration of the car.

Garage List
If you have BimmerUtility you van also look up VIN there. Seems it also takes retrofitted options into calculation.

UPDATE: mdecoder.com is working now, instead of giving an error message. bimmer.work seems to be stuck in some sort of endless "Your VIN in processing" loop.
