i would like to know if people tow with your X1 ?

At the moment, i must be tow a light lotus elise s1 (750kg+550kg), but i look for buy a cayman gt4 (1340kg)+550kg <2000kg of my x1

i take all informations, returns about big load with your x1

This is, primarily, a US site. Americans don't tow with "small" vehicles, like a X1 - they tow with trucks.

My X4 is certified for 2400 kg - I guess your X1 is certfied for - at least - 2000kg.

However, this is an EU issue - you should have a EU document - Registration Certificate stating allowed towing capacity.

I don't know what the tow rating is for an X1 in France, but I would never tow 2000kg with anything like an X1. I have a tow hitch on my X1 and put it on myself. The hitch mounts where the bumper mounts. 2000kg is tuck or larger SUV territory. I used to have a boat about that size and towed it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 rated for 6500 lbs.
